\nHet antwoord is voor elke watersporter duidelijk: het beste werpt men direct een SECU 17 de drenkeling achter na en vaart men een Man Over Boord Manoeuvre. De SECU 17 is de klassieker onder vaststofvesten en voor het werpen beter geschikt dan een traditionele ring of een hoefijzer boei. In het MOB-pakket, dat eenvoudig aan de reling gemonteerd kan worden, bevindt zich de SECU 17 klaar om te gebruiken. Gecombineerd met een drijvende lijn is de verbinding met de drenkeling sneller hersteld. Nu moet de schipbreukeling weer aan boord worden gehesen.
