De truc bij de constructie van reddingvesten is om de fysische krachten voor de watersporter te laten werken. SECUMAR ontwikkelde het gepatenteerde 3D-drijflichaam voor de topmodellen. Het ontwerp is zo, dat de luchtkamers niet alleen in de nek en voor op de borst drijfvermogen ontwikkelen, om speciaal het hoofd uit het water te heffen. Veel meer nog staan er twee luchtkamers loodrecht van de borst af.
