Afhankelijk van zijn grote hefboom is een relatief klein drijfvermogen in de masttop reeds voldoende om het erger te voorkomen. Het weer oprichten van het schip door de bemanning wordt vereenvoudigd.<\/p>\n<p>Kenterbescherming in de masttop Op het moment dat de masttop het water raakt wordt het kenterkussen volautomatisch met CO2 gas opgeblazen. Het hard opgeblazen kussen stopt direkt het doorkenteren van de mast.
