Pack buoyancy aid with remote controlled surfacing<\/h2>

The inflatable pack buoyancy aid was developed for military special operation forces<\/strong> to hold equipment at the water surface<\/strong> or to let submerged equipment surface<\/strong>. The system can be activated either automatically upon contact with water (hounoring an optional time delay configuration) or manually by pulling a cord<\/strong>.<\/p>

The pack can also provide some assistance to casualties<\/strong> if the person holds on to the inflated buoyancy chamber. Note that it is not a lifejacket and therefore no personal protection equipment (PPE)<\/strong>.<\/p>

Structure of the pack buoyancy aid<\/h2>

The main part of the product is the buoyancy chamber<\/strong> which can be inflated with the filling of the CO2<\/sub>  cylinder or alternatively with breathing air. Fully inflated it provides a buoyancy force of 350 N (\u2248 35 litres \u2248 35 kg \u2248 77 lbf).<\/p>

The buoyancy pack is activated by our inflation device SECUTRONIC <\/strong>and can be released in 3 different ways<\/strong>:<\/p>

  1. pulling the activation cord<\/strong> (available in all operation modes)<\/li>\n\n
  2. allowing the countdown time to elapse<\/strong> (available only in automatic mode)<\/li>\n\n
  3. submersing beyond the critical depth<\/strong> (available in automatic mode only)<\/li><\/ol>

    These options will pierce the CO2<\/sub> cylinder <\/strong>to let the gas flow into the buoyancy chamber.<\/p>

    Automatic activation after water contact can be intercepted by toggeling<\/strong> from automatic mode<\/strong> to manual-only <\/strong>mode.<\/p>

    The buoyancy chamber and the mounted inflation device SECUTRONIC is folded and covered by the attached outer protective cover<\/strong> with velcro fasteners.<\/p>

    Thanks to the attached MOLLE grid<\/strong> on the back of the outer cover the pack buoyancy aid can be attached to bags and other equipment easily<\/strong>. The device comes with two plastic Malice\u2122 clips<\/strong> for attaching to any MOLLE grid.<\/p>
