Duo-Protect-System
- behind this concept lies a buoyancy aid with a sandwich
structure, with a multi-layered design. The system was developed
under cooperation with the German Sea Rescue Service (DGzRS).
On the
inside, the buoyancy chamber has a second skin in the form
of a tear-resistant foil. This prevents the life-jacket losing
its watertightness and it resists punctures.
Its stretchability
is different to that of the outer skin of the buoyancy chamber.
Should the outer skin become damaged, the inner foil pushes
against the outer layer and thus seals the leak again.
