On this and the following pages we would like to give you a short overview of the different production areas within SECUMAR.


The automatic inflator is the core of the life jacket. Each individual inflator is tested so that it will function in an emergency.		The computer which is connected to scales checks whether the carbon dioxide cartridges are full. If a cartridge is too light, that points to it being empty. It is taken out of the batch.

Pill-test in the laboratory: The pill made out of micro-crystalline cellulose must resist a pressure which corresponds to that of the cocked inflator.		Each individual automatic-pill is weighed. Only the ones which lie within closely calculated tolerances may then be put into the automatic inflator devices.
